dorkShop on Physical Computing

This Saturday (1/29), Matt Ruby and I are giving a dorkShop “Intro to Physical Computing + Arduino” workshop here at Parsons. We’ll be reviewing Phys Comp basics (LEDs, Push Buttons, Pull-Up/Pull-Down resistors), get people up and running with some basic Arduino sketches, and then start working with simple sensors.

Some Arduino boards are available to borrow for the workshop, but bring your own board if you have access to one. Come with the Arduino program loaded on your laptop, tools that you have (wire strippers, voltage meter, etc.), and your ideas and questions.

You can sign-up at the Facebook page, and for more information, you can go to the dorkShop website. Hope to see you there.
