Physical Computing – Assignment 3

We were provided the following schematics for in-class completion, which were Basic Monostable and Astable Circuits using a 556 IC:

Were were then provided the following schematic to complete for homework, which was a Toy Organ:

We were also provided 3 additional schematics which could be completed for extra credit.  The schematics were a Basic Oscillator, a Voltage-Controlled Oscillator, and a Sound Effects Generator:

We were also asked to draw our own schematic that incorporates a light to voltage converter and a transistor (I used a NPN) and then build that schematic.  Here is the schematic I put together:
